Sandra Boynton's books always make me smile. They are filled with simple yet adorable illustrations of animal adventures. This particular book has a silly story but has a very soothing tone. Perfect for reading at naptime or at night.

"The Going to Bed Book" is one of my son's favorite books. We have read it I know a hundred times before going to bed. My son loves to act out the various parts of the book while he gets ready for bed. We have personally enjoyed many of Sandra Boynton's books.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute book. Two favorites at our home are "Goodnight Moon" and "Goodnight Gorilla". We love the first because of its soothing rhythm and the second for its humor. In both there are things to look for on each page. In the first, find the mouse on every page, and in the second, find the balloon on each page - though when inside the house its not always visible. Try them!
ReplyDelete"Goodnight Moon" is a good one too, I recently saw a pop-up version at Borders. Have you seen it? I have not heard of "Goodnight Gorilla" but have it on my list to check out. Thanks for the suggestions!
